Floki’s Fund
Floki's Foster Fund was established as a program of Indianapolis Professionals Advocating for Animal Welfare (IPAAW), co-founded by Vice President Elaine Thiel. The fund aims to support Indianapolis's stray animals. Floki was a foster dog for two years before finally finding his forever home with his foster family. Having experienced a difficult past, Floki has shown his family the challenges of adopting a dog that others may hesitate to support. Recognizing his good fortune, Floki and his family decided to pay it forward.
Floki's Fund is intended for animals being rerouted from the streets or facing potential homelessness, to be directed to reputable rescues. The fund covers alteration surgery and state-mandated vaccines at FACE, ensuring these vulnerable animals receive essential care on their path to safe, healthy homes. IPAAW collaborates with the rescuer and FACE to coordinate services and support.
Funds raised for Floki's Fund will directly help end the cycle of accidental litters and provide care for unwanted animals in Indianapolis.
