OCT 4 - Love Them For Life at Tom Wood Subaru
When: Saturday, October 4, 2025
What: Media-friendly, outdoor adoption event where local rescues bring cats and dogs for adoption, held at Tom Wood Subaru dealership. petfriendlyservices.org
Why Go: A welcoming environment for browsing adoptable pets, often with reduced fees or special incentives.
OCT 18 - Dog Daze at the Maze
When: Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, 2025
Where: Danville, IN
What to Expect: A fall-themed, dog-friendly event hosted in a corn maze—includes pet activities, adoption outreach, and seasonal entertainment.
OCT 19 - Indy Pet Parade
When: Saturday, October 19, 2025 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Where: Metazoa Brewing, Indianapolis, IN
What to Expect: Pet parade with rescue booths, vendors, and live music.
OCT 25 - Barktoberfest 2025 – Taffy’s Touch Senior Dog Rescue
When: Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Where: Aging Hearts Senior Dog Center, Plainfield, IN (just under 20 miles from Indianapolis)
What to Expect: A fall festival for dogs and their people featuring a Pup Cup Station, a dog costume contest (humans welcome to dress up too!), plus local vendors and rescue supporters.
